WHAT IS NAADI PARIKSHA
Naadi
Pariksha is an ancient method of Diagnosis described in Ayurveda, in which the
doctor presses his three fingers on the blood vessel called radial artery at
wrist of the patient. As all of us are well aware of the fact that the whole
information of the bodily metabolism, infections, immunity, enzymes, hormones,
toxins is present in the blood and which is usually used to make a diagnosis by
various laboratories
Naadi
Pariksha is Ayurveda based decoding of this information through the touch by sensing
through the nerves present in the fingers of a trained doctor.
Today
though it sounds as a miracle to us, in olden days this was a routinely
practiced way of diagnosis in richly cultured India. Naadi Pariksha is definite
technique and can be taught to any Ayurveda graduate doctor, as this is mainly
based on the knowledge of 3 Doshas called Vata,Pitta and Kapha.
Many
a times we feel that absence of a named disease as an idication of good health .
But it’s not always true. Every disease has two phases, one is accumulative and
other is manifestive. All diseases are diagnosed in laboratory only after its manifestive
phase. Only through Naadi Pariksha, a good doctor can catch a disease in you,
which is in accumulative phase. If your disease is diagnosed in this Silently
Growing phase, the chances of eradicating it from the root becomes very easy by
using simple herbs, yogic postures, and some Mudra Pranayams.
Today
due to hectic schedules, sedentary and competitive life style, we are more
prone to develop metabolic and infective as well as malignant diseases.
Pollution and preservatives in food add to the growth of illnesses.
If
we regularly do Naadi Pariksha with an experienced Ayurveda doctor, it will
definitely add value to our good health and in a true sense we can prevent most
of the future health issues.
Another
aspect of Naadi Pariksha is its effectiveness in Ayurvedic treatment. In modern
medicine the treatment is based on a “disease” where as in Ayurveda it is based
on the “diseased”, means the patient. If someone already has an established
disease, NP will accurately rule out the cause in terms of imbalance of a
particular Dosha at a particular tissue level in body. This helps the doctor to
choose most effective herb and diet for the patient as a result the patient
gets rid of most of his allopathic medicines in due course of time depending on
his physical state and chronicity of the disesae.
